"With the FRILO Suite, we benefit from the use of all programs"
Fun is inevitable in the young team at concon! We visited the engineering office in Traunstein and were infected by the good atmosphere. In this interview, the managing partners Raphael Huber and Benjamin Di-Qual tell us why they have been relying on FRILO software for many years. They also explain what motivated the office to switch to FRILO Suite by subscription.
“What we like most about FRILO is that we are flexible when it comes to setting up a structural analysis,” says Benjamin Di-Qual. He is one of the two managing partners of the engineering office concon and already got to know and love FRILO’s software during his studies. FRILO’s very wide range of programs gives structural engineers numerous options for carrying out the required verifications in a targeted manner. In addition, the Document Designer helps structural engineers to centrally collect the results of the verifications for output. Another plus point, according to Di-Qual, is the opportunity to exchange ideas with FRILO. “We are taken seriously as a customer. Of course, that makes working together fun,” says Di-Qual, who feels he is in good hands with FRILO.
Well comprehensible, verifiable statics
Florian Lindner takes the same line. The project manager for structural analysis and design at concon appreciates not only the reliable and competent customer support from FRILO, but also the fact that he can use the software to “put very comprehensible, verifiable structural analysis on paper”. “I like working with FRILO because FRILO offers a very user-friendly interface. The networking of the various modules from timber construction to steel construction, from solid construction to foundations works perfectly,” he praises. In addition, the planner is a great supporter of the FRILO BIM-Connector. With the help of that FRILO solution he was able to make the structural analysis and design for the construction project “THE VIEW” more time-efficient.
FRILO Suite makes everyday work easier
With the switch to FRILO Suite, the long-standing SSA customer now decided to go with the subscription model at FRILO. “With FRILO Suite, we benefit above all from the fact that we can now use all existing programs. We constantly receive program updates and also have direct access to new developments without having to become additionally active. This makes working easier,” Di-Qual explains the step to change. “As customers, we have flexibility and can react very easily and quickly to what is currently happening on the market without having to invest a lot of money,” he adds and emphasises: “Without FRILO as a holistic, flexible and modular solution, we simply couldn’t do our job.”
