Structural system
Available systems:
- Beam to continuous column (T-joint)
- Beam to column ending at the corner (knee joint)
- Column to beam ending above the column (K-joint)
- Column to continuous beam (rotated T-joint)
- T-joint with haunch on one or both sides and inclined beam
- Knee joint with haunch on one side and inclined beam
- Knee joint with additional tension plate in the bolted connection, optionally also bolted to a top plate
- Arrangement of diagonal stiffeners or a web plate on one side in the shear panel area
- Arrangement of web stiffeners in the load-transferring component is possible
Cross-sections:
- I-sections as standard shapes
- User-defined I-sections
Loads
- Design internal forces from axial force, moment and shear force
- Multiple combinations of design internal forces can be entered
Fasteners
- Bolts (black bolts and fit bolts)

- Strength classes: 4.6; 5.6; 8.8; 10.9
Design
The calculation of joints with two vertical bolt rows is based on the component method as per DIN EN 1993-1-8. For the verification of butt plate joints with four vertical bolt rows, the model described in the following publications is used:

Either the elastic or plastic cross-sectional resistance is verified. The verification of the weld seam limit stresses is performed using the simplified method.
